This year, Boobie Traps made its way to Zagreb Design Week, bringing boobs into yet another space they are not always expected to occupy.

For a week, the tapestries became part of a much bigger mix of objects, graphics, fashion, products and ideas. Seeing Boobie Traps outside of its usual context, surrounded by so many different approaches to design, felt very exciting. What started as a personal art project has slowly found its way into galleries, markets, exhibitions and now one of the biggest design events in Croatia. The best part was watching people stop, look, laugh, point things out to each other and get surprisingly serious about choosing their favourite pair of boobs.

Somewhere along the way, the project also took third place in the Textile & Fashion Design category.

And while third place usually comes with a medal, a certificate, or a polite round of applause, this one called for something a little more appropriate. A third nipple.

To celebrate, Boobie Traps made a limited series of Third Nipple T-shirts, each one hand-painted and therefore slightly different. A small wearable extension of the project, made specifically because of Zagreb Design Week and everything that came with it.

The shirts were never really planned as a new Boobie Traps product. They started as a joke about winning third place and, naturally, the joke had to become a real object. Because that is pretty much how things tend to happen around here.

Third place. Third nipple. It only made sense.
